WHAT IS CUET 2022 EXAM LAST DATE TO APPLY?

The National Testing Agency is in process of registering for the Common University Entrance Test.

This is going to be the first time an exam will be conducted for Undergraduate (UG) Programmes in all Central Universities across the country for the academic session of 2022-23.

NTA CUET 2022 Exam will be one test for all. Whether rural or urban now the students from any part of the country will be able to apply for the central university of their choice.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the NTA CUET 2022 exam for both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes in a total of 44 Central Universities and other private or deemed universities.

In 13 mediums of instructions, NTA CUET 2022 Exam will be a computer-based test (CBT) mode with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) type questions.

Since it is one of its kind test students are advised to carefully go through the Information Bulletin of the NTA CUET 2022 exam and the individual prospectus of Central Universities before filling out the application form.

As there are many variables and changes in the courses offered, seats available, eligibility as regards age, passing/appearing in the qualifying exam, minimum marks in the qualifying exam, relaxations and reservation, admission procedure, etc.

Students should take note of the dates from the calendar of events below to align themselves with the timeline of the exam and complete the registration process and other formalities well before time,

Features of NTA CUET 2022 Exam       

1. NTA CUET 2022 Exam will be a single-window central-university exam.

2. The exam will be in line with the Class 12 standards only.

3. NTA CUET 2022 Exam will have no age limit; however, a student will have to fulfil the age criteria set by the individual Central Universities.

4. It will be conducted in 547 cities in India and 13 cities outside of India.

5. The question paper will be in 13 mediums of instruction, i.e. English, Hindi, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Odia.

6. NTA CUET 2022 exam will have three sections, Section 1 A&B will be a test of language from 12 and 20 languages in each subsection, Section 2 will be from 27 Domain-specific Subjects, and Section 3 for general tests, any combination of these subjects can be selected by a student to seek admission into a Central University subject to their requirements.

7. 44 participating Central Universities and Private Universities will accept the NTA CUET 2022 exam scores.

8. NTA CUET 2022 exam score will replace the Class 12th scores as the only perimeter to get admission into universities.

This will give a golden opportunity to those students who for whatever reason couldn’t perform better in their Class 12th exam.

Important Instruction for NTA CUET 2022 Exam Registration Process

1. Students must read the Information Bulletin of the NTA CUET 2022 Exam.

2. A Student can only apply through the “Online” mode.

3. Only a single unique application for NTA CUET 2022 Exam will be accepted by a student. Duplicate applications will be summarily rejected.

4. All the information entered by a student in the online Application Form should be correct. As these submissions will be considered full and final.

5. A Student will have to enter their correct e-mail address and mobile numbers, as further communication regarding NTA CUET 2022 Exam will be made through the registered e-mail or SMS.

Last Date to Register

The last date to register and successfully pay the examination fee for NTA CUET 2022 Exam is May 6, up to 11:50 pm.

Waiting for the last moment to apply will only invite uncalled stress and a possibility of not being able to register. So students are advised to fill out the online application form and make payment as soon as possible.
