Responsibilities:

Analyze financial information to determine product and service costs.

Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, processes, and procedures.

Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into cost savings opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Provide financial analyses to support business decisions and drive profitability.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Collaborating with other members of the finance team to prepare budgets and financial forecasts

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

4+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a publishing company.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
