Requirement while applying for the CUET
While applying or filling the application for CUET, the candidates need to have the following documents ready because you will need them-
1. Mark Sheet from class 10th and 12th Passport sized photo (scanned)
2. Image of signature (scanned)
3. ID Proof (passport, driving license, Voter ID, Aadhar Card)
4. Certificate of caste( if application)
If you have all these documents, only you will be able to apply for the exam or fill out the application.
How to apply?
To apply for the CUET 2022, the candidate has to follow the following steps-

2. Click the link- application process
3. Enter all the details and submit the credentials
4. Once you are done, download the application form, and if you want, print it for your reference.
When will be the CUET 2022?
There is no exact date for the exam which has been announced yet. But exam will be held in July 2022, and once NTA finalizes the date, it will be available to the candidates on the official websites of CUET, which is cuet.Samarth.ac.in.
Syllabus for CUET 2022
While preparing for the CUET 2022, there is no need for the students to take any extra coaching or buy books if they want to pass the exam.
The questions that you will find in the entrance exam will come from the NCERT books that have been assigned to the students in class 12th. Therefore, they can prepare the syllabus from that book only.
Mode of Exam
CUET 2022 is an entirely computer-based exam held in 13 different languages. The languages in which the exam will be conducted are- Hindi, English, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Telegu, Gujrati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, and Kannada.
In addition to that, the candidates can also pick from 19 other languages: German, Russian, French, Santhali, Japanese, Bodo, etc.
Exam Pattern
Most of the students do get confused by the exam pattern. Therefore, the test will be divided into three sections.
Section 1
Section 1 of CUET 2022 is divided into two different languages section-
Section 1A- It is the 45-minute test that is created to test the candidate's command in the English language and also in one Indian Language, which can be Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Telegu, Gujrati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, and Kannada.
Section 1B- It is the test that will be attempted by the students who want to take part in the foreign language program. In this section, you can choose the language from the list of 19 languages which are- Nepali, French, Russian, Spanish, German, Chinese, Tibetan, Dogri, Bodo, Santhali, Japanese, and Manipuri.
Section 2
In this section, the student's understanding will be tested in the subject they want to pursue their graduation. There will be 50 questions, and candidates will have to solve 40 of them in 45 minutes.
The students can pick from the 27 subjects they want to pursue their careers.
The subjects from which they can choose are- Book Keeping/ Accountancy; Biological Studies/Biotechnology; Business Studies; Geography/ Geology; Mathematics; Environmental Science; Engineering Graphics; Home Science; History; Knowledge Tradition and Practice of India; Yoga/NCC/Physical Education; Economics or Business Economics; Teaching Aptitude; Visual Arts/Fine Arts; Performing Arts-(i) Dance (Kathak/Odissi/ Kathakali/Manipuri/ Bharatnatyam/ Kuchipudi) (ii) Drama (iii) Musical General (Rabindra Sangeet/ Non-Percussion/ Percussion/Carnatic/ Hindustani); Legal Studies; Sanskriti; Physical; Political Science; Sociology; Psychology; Anthropology; Mass Communication/ Mass Media; Entrepreneurship; Agriculture; Computer Science.
Section 3
The students will be given a general knowledge test in this last section. However, this test is not mandatory for all students, as the students whose undergraduate courses demand the general knowledge only will have to give the examination.
The test will have 75 questions, and out of that, they have to attempt only 60 in 60 minutes. The questions will be based on quantitative reasoning, application of mathematical concepts, general knowledge, and current affairs.
