Common Universities Entrance Test (NTA CUET 2022 Exam) started its registration on April 6, 2022.
This is the first time NTA CUET 2022 exam will be conducted for admission into all Under Graduate (UG) Programmes in all Central Universities for the academic session of 2022-23.
This test will serve as a common and equal ground for opportunities for students across the country, especially the students of rural and other remote areas who now will have better connections with the Central Universities.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the NTA CUET 2022 exam for both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes in 44 participating Central Universities.
The NTA CUET 2022 Exam will be conducted in 13 mediums across India in computer-based test (CBT) mode with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) patterns.
But before you set out to fill the application form you are advised to carefully read the Information Bulletin of the NTA CUET 2022 exam and the prospectus of your desired Central University to get clear about the courses offered, seats available, eligibility as regards age, passing/appearing in qualifying exam, minimum marks in the qualifying exam, relaxations and reservation, admission procedure, etc.
As this is a new exam there are many new variables in it which you need to keep in mind while filling out your application form.
Highlights of NTA CUET 2022 Exam
1. NTA CUET 2022 Exam will be a single-window multi-university exam.
2. The exam will be conducted in 547 cities in India and 13 cities outside of India.
3. NTA CUET 2022 Exam will be conducted in 13 mediums of instruction, i.e. English, Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Odia.
4. This exam will have a bouquet of tests in 23 Languages, 27 Domain-specific Subjects, and General tests any one or more of which can be selected to seek an admission subject to eligibility requirements.
5. The questions in all testing areas will be based on the criterion of Class XII level only.
6. There will be no age limit in NTA CUET 2022 Exam, however, the age criteria of a student’s desired university has to be fulfilled.
7. 44 participating Central Universities and Private Universities will accept the NTA CUET 2022 exam scores.

Important Instruction for NTA CUET 2022 Exam Registration Process
1. The official website for NTA CUET 2022 Exam for latest news and events is https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/
2. Students must carefully read all the instructions written in the Information Bulletin on the NTA Website.
3. Those students who will not comply with the instructions shall be disqualified summarily.
4. Students can apply through the “Online” mode only any other mode of Application Form will not be accepted.
5. Students should submit only one application. Duplicate applications will be rejected.
6. Students should ensure that all the information entered by them like the Name of the Candidate, Contact Details, Address Details, Category, Gender, PwBD Status, Educational Qualification Details, Date of Birth, Choice of Exam cities, etc. in the online Application Form is correct.
As it will be considered as full and final, any request to change them will not be entertained.
7. All students must ensure that they have provided their correct e-mail address and mobile numbers of their own, as further communication from the NTA side, will be monitored through e-mail or SMS on the registered contact details.
8. Students should exercise utmost alertness before filling up and submitting any details in the Application Form.
Steps to Apply Online for NTA CUET 2022 Exam
Step 1: Registration
1. Visit the official website and click on the register tab.
2. Read the instructions carefully and click to proceed.
3. Fill in the required details and create PASSWORD, choose Security Question and enter your answer.
4. After successful submission of the personal details, an application number will be generated by the system.
5. Note this application number as it will be used to complete the remaining steps and will also be required for future correspondence.
Step 2: Application
1. Log in with the system-generated Application Number and your password.
2. Similar to registration step, fill in the personal details, followed up by filling, Quota and category selection, details of educational qualification, university and programme selection, test paper details, Examination Cities selection in subsequent sections.
3. Upload the images and documents, Scanned Images of your Photograph, Signature, and Category Certificate, and PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable).
4. Proceed to preview the application for any mistakes and confirm your E-mail Id to complete this stage.
Step 3: Fee Payment
1. After you have completed the above steps, pay the requisite examination fee online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services.
2. Once you complete payment a Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated.
In case it is not generated after payment of the fee, approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway from the helpline number and e-mail given in the Information Bulletin to ensure the successful completion of this stage.
3. Save, Download and print a copy of the Confirmation Page for future NTA CUET 2022 Exam reference.
4. All 3 Steps can be done together or at separate timings. The final submission of the Online Application Form will remain incomplete if Step 3 i.e Fee Payment is not complete.
Such applications will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
1. Avoid uploading blur images of your documents.
2. Use blank paper as the background while scanning the documents.
3. Make sure to upload the educational qualification certificates as required.
4. Make sure to only apply to those programmes which you are eligible for, if eligibility requirements were not met, the NTA CUET 2022 exam application will be rejected.
Last Date to apply
The last date for filling up the application form and successful transition of payment of NTA CUET 2022 Exam is May 6, up to 11:50 pm.
Do not wait for the last moment to apply as soon the CBSE Term 2 will start and you won't be able to find the necessary time and peace of mind to carefully fill out the application form for NTA CUET 2022 Exam. So better be early than late.
