Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) is an examination conducted by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination for Class10th. ICSE Exams are one of the toughest exams in the country. As the questions asked and the level of english both are at a tough level.

There cannot be one answer as to which paper is the hardest for ICSE Class 10th Board Exams. It can differ from student to student. Someone who is good in science may find mathematics or social science difficult. Similarly someone who is good in social science may find subjects of science like physics or chemistry difficult. Usually, mathematics seems to be a tough nut for the majority of the students. 

The Physics Paper of Science Section is considered to be the toughest paper as it is highly conceptual and consists of highly advanced topics.

1- Be Systematic & Plan Ahead -

First things first, students need to get a reality check and how your study pattern has been. You can bury the past and whatever has happened till Class 9th. The Class 10th Board Exams is a fresh start of the career and the base for coming years. Make a solid study plan based on your likes and dislikes, strengths and weaknesses.

2- Understand the Syllabus - 

It's important to understand the syllabus in terms of length and breadth. Study the topics and map them with your books. Understand how much you know of a topic and from where you need to begin. Studying topicwise always helps.

Irrespective of your board, one must start with NCERTs to build conceptual knowledge and a strong base. NCERTs help to open the mind and broaden the vision. Even if you haven't studied quite well in the earlier classes, it's okay. You have an opportunity to build a base at the start of the class. 

5- Revision - 

Revision is a crucial part of the learning and retaining. Make concise notes and highlight keywords, make interesting mind maps and mnemonics. Keep the notes handy and visit them from time to time.

6- Solve Previous Year Solved Papers -

Start solving previous year papers to understand the type of questions asked, marking scheme, time management for each section of questions. A lot of times questions are directly picked from the previous year papers. It's a must to solve papers and dont wait till the last minute. Start solving from the beginning, as a lot of time one learns better in a question answer format.
