English is a tricky subject when it comes to reading, learning and assimilation. There are rules and getting them right is essential. The CBSE Class 12th English Paper is 100 marks where 80 marks is allotted to the theory and 20 marks is given for the viva. The 80 marks paper is divided into reading comprehension, creative writing skills, and literature.

It depends on which section the student is comfortable with when starting the exam paper. One approach is to start with the section you are good at, as it will boost your confidence and give you confidence that a chunk of the exam is answered. The second approach is to start with the reading section. It consists of unseen passages that can be factual, descriptive, or literary. And case-based unseen passages that may be factual in natureThis can be followed by the writing section, which includes letter writing, essay writing and report writing. After this attempt, the grammar section tests how well-versed they are with the rules. Last but not least, answer the literary section.
