The date sheet of the CBSE Term 2 Class 10 & 12 exam is long out. The clock is ticking, slower for some and faster for many. 26th April is not that far away, just 2 weeks are left.
If you feel that the clock is ticking faster for you then you first need to take a deep breath and be calm at least till you read this whole blog. No world is going to crash and doomsday is just an age-old fancy concept.
Last year the board announced that the examination pattern is being changed and the 2022 examination will be divided into two terms for Classes 10 & 12 after carefully monitoring the uncertainties caused by the pandemic.
With this move, the syllabus was also distributed rationally among the two terms covering up the learning loss caused by online schooling and frequent lockdowns.
The CBSE Term 2 Class 10 & 12 exams will be of 2 hours with case-based, situation-based, open-ended short answer and long answer type questions.
This is also the first time an offline mode exam is being conducted after the onset of COVID-19. While the results for the Term 1 exam are already out, the weightage of both terms contributing to the final result will be decided by the board after the CBSE Term 2 Class 10 & 12 exams.
So there are so many new changes that will come into effect in this exam that having some anxiety about it is natural. But if you trust your preparation and instincts for CBSE Term 2 Class 10 & 12 it is just another exam.

What should be your strategy for these 2 weeks?
Plan your seconds
“Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.” — William Penn, Fruits of Solitude
There are almost 2 weeks left i.e 11 days leaving aside the 3 days before the first CBSE Term 2 Class 10 & 12 exams. By now you must know your subject and areas of the stronghold and lose grip.
How you use these few days will determine not only your confidence going into the exam but also your ability to turn weak areas into your favour. You should make way for 70 per cent time for these floating areas and 30 per cent on revising your strongholds.
This means prioritising weaknesses over strengths to overcome them. The vastness of CBSE Term 2 Class 10 & 12 syllabus will decide the time-division.
And the most important thing is to start the reverse order of the CBSE Class 10 & 12 date sheet i.e, prepare for the last exam first so that by the time you come to the first you have a good 3-4 days left before the exam date.
