The initial results, declared on June 4, were met with further controversy due to the awarding of grace marks across the nation, leading to protests and court cases, and the fairness of the entire process was being questioned.

The petitions pointed out issues like some students had "no defined logic" for awarding grace marks, and others had "statistically impossible" scores. All these anomalies cast aspersions on the examination process in its totality. Also, the petitions stressed a fair NEET exam by saying, "This field requires deep scientific and medical knowledge…cheating, using any unfair means to pass the exam can result in incompetence and endanger lives of patients."
Recognizing the gravity of this situation, the Supreme Court issued notice to NTA and Centre over pleas seeking cancellation of results. "It is not that simple…that because you have done it (held the exam) it is sacrosanct; the sanctity of (the examination) has been affected … so we need answers." These were some words spoken by judges while discussing conducting 2024-NEET exams.

NEET UG Entrance Exam 2022 Result Declared
2022 NEET Result 2022, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Result 2022, has been declared. The conducting body of NEET Exam -NTA has announced the NEET UG result on the official website where students can check out their marks with their details on admit card – www.neet.nta.nic.in.
A total of over 18.5 lakh candidates appeared for NEET UG Exam 2022 in which only 9.93 lakh have qualified the exam. The next step for the students who have qualified the NEET UG 2022 exam is to appear for NEET counselling conducted by Medical Counselling Committee and State Counselling institutes. Students need to know that the cut off for qualifying NEET is 50 percentiles for general category and for reserved categories its 40 percentiles. Another thing to be noted here is that just qualifying the NEET Exam does not guarantee your admission in a medical college.
The Topper of NEET UG 2022 Exam
Rajasthan’s Tanishka has secured All India Rank 1 with 715 marks in NEET UG 2022 Exam. Rank 2, 3 and 4 respectively were secured by Delhi’s Vatsa Ashish Batra, and Karnataka’s Hrishikesh Nagbhushan Gangule, and Rucha Pawashe. They secured 715 marks or 99.9997733 points, the same as the AIR 1 Tanishka.
NEET UG 2022 tie-breaking criteria
The NTA has released the tie-breaking criteria given below on which the NEET 2022 result is based.
Higher Biology marks will be given first preference.
If still the tie doesn’t break, higher marks in Chemistry will be considered.
If tie remains, the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be considered.
If the tie persists, the candidate who has less proportion of incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects will be considered.
Then again, candidates with less proportion of incorrect and correct answers in Biology will be considered for higher rank.
If still the issue remains, candidates with less proportion of incorrect and correct answers in Chemistry will be given preference.
If still the issue persists, candidates with less proportion of incorrect and correct answers in Physics will be considered for higher rank.
Finally, older candidates will be given less preference.

PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is looking for school students across the nations for an imminent scholarship scheme that has recently been circulated.
NTA is asking for students to send applications for the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme (YASASVI). The scholarship will be based on Vibrant India Entrance Test 2022.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has established the YASASVI along with 15000 other scholarships that are offered to the recognized school students of class 9 and class 11. The applicants belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNT/SNT) category across India whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs are open to apply for the scholarship.
Another important thing to be noted here is that the scholarship under the scheme will be available for studies in India. Also, the scholarship will only be awarded by the Govt. of the State/ Union Territory to which the applicant belongs.
Another great news for the students applying for this scholarship is that no examination fees will be charged for the YASAVI entrance test. NTA has also released the YASASVI syllabus which available on their official website - https://yet.nta.ac.in/

CBSE has also announced that the class 10 result is going to be out soon. The expert sources have revealed that the CBSE class 10 results are going to be out today around 2 pm.
Students of class 12 can download their score cards from the website mentoined above. The board exam roll number, date of birth and school code will be necessary for the same. For the CBSE class 10 students, CBSE 10th result for term 2 can be checked via SMS, IVRS, SMS app.
More than 1.4 million students had appeared for the CBSE board exam 2022; and out of those 1.4 million, 1.3 million have passed. Over 33,000 students have scored above 95% with 1.3 lakh class 12 students have scored more than 90%.
CBSE has congratulated class 12 students as the pass percentage of this year has been recorded at 92.71% which is a considerable improvement from the 2020’s 88.78%. Although, in 2021, the pass percentage skyrocketed for class 12 students with 99.37%, as there were no written board exams in 2021.
CBSE has also declared that Trivandrum, Kerala, has recorded the highest pass percentage with 98.83%, meanwhile Prayagraj, UP, has recorded the lowest pass percentage of 83.71%.
Consecutively for the fourth time in a row, Girls of class 12 have outperformed boys by a record of 3.29%. Although in the result of CBSE board exam 2020, there was a record-breaking difference in the results of girls being 92.15 and boys staying low at 86.19%.
CBSE class 12 result declared: How is the result calculated?
This year the exams were held for the first time in format and accordingly the result of class 12 has been calculated. The final result of CBSE board exam 2022 has been calculated on the basis of following assessment criteria:-
1. For theory, 70% weightage is given to term 2, and 30% to term 1.
2. For practicals, equal weightage has been given to both the terms.

The Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) test date for 2022 has been announced by the National Testing Agency. From July 15 to August 10, CUET-UG will be administered. In this context, NTA released a formal statement "Beginning on July 15, CUET-UG will last for 10 days.
Due to the NEET-UG exam on July 17, 2022, and the JEE (Main) exam from July 21 to August 3 of the same year." No CUET paper will be issued.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) unveiled CUET 2022 earlier this year. For admission to a variety of graduate degree programmes at central universities like Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and others, CUET 2022 will be held.

The CUET entrance exam will be conducted in two shifts. In the first shift, candidates will take one language, two domain-specific papers and a common test. At the same time, in the second shift, students will take the remaining four domain-specific subjects and any one optional language test including French, Arabic, German etc.
The paper will have Multiple Choice Based Questions (MCQs) The Skill Assessment Test will consist of a written test, a test of communication skills and logical reasoning.

Four more universities have come forward in support of CUET 2022. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that four new universities that will be included in the list are Nirwan Univeristy, Jaipur, Bennett University, Greater Noida, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra, and M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.
The amendments pertaining to CUET 2022 have been released in a corrigendum by the National Testing Agency. As per the notice, the participating universities have decided to add or delete some courses as per their individual requirements.
Eligibility for the CUET 2022 can be checked from the bunching list. Changes made by the universities for CUET 2022 are reflected in the bunching list released on 9th June, 2022. The changes made in the bunching list are marked in green color.
Jawaharlal Nehru University has also made change in the earlier decided paper code PGQP20 with the separate paper code PGQP79. The notice states that, “Once the correction window is opened, the applicants who have already applied for JNU with the earlier paper code can do the corrections.”
The online application process of CUET PG 2022 has already commenced on May 19, 2022 and will remain open till June 18, 2022 on the official website https://cuet.nta.nic.in/
Aspirants can check the latest bunching list of the courses and their details on the official website. The added and the deleted courses have been highlighted in red by the participating universities.
Candidates can apply for the CUET 2022 exam without any age limit restrictions before the deadline for the exam. Aspirants do need to fulfil the age limit criteria set by the individual university that will be different for different universities.
Admit cards for CUET 2022 will be made available two weeks before the exam date. Aspirants will get the notification on their registered email id and mobile number for downloading the admit cards once they are available for download.
Application fee will vary for the candidates based upon their category. The exam fee for CUET 2022 will be:

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has launched the Agnipath Recruitment scheme as a radical step to bring changes in the recruitment process of Indian Armed forces. The scheme will focus on adding 46,000 soldiers to Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force.
The scheme was announced in the media briefing and was approved by the cabinet committee. Defence Minister stated that, “The Agnipath Recruitment Scheme will come as a transformative measure to offer youthful profile in the armed forces.”
According to the Agnipath Scheme, initially, the entry would be done for a period of 4 years. The recruits would be trained by the armed forces in the required skills for the duration of 4 years. Agniveers will be the designation given to the recruits hired under the Agnipath scheme.
25% of the 46000 soldiers recruited every year will be retained for an additional tenure of 15 years for the permanent commission. Except these 25% soldiers, the other recruits will be allowed to leave and given a Seva Nidhi- a corpus of one time amount of Rs. 11.71 lakh with interest.
Soldiers can use the tax free amount to fulfil their individual dreams. Selected individuals would be required to serve for a further engagement period of minimum 15 years and will come under the terms and conditions designed for the Junior Commissioned Officers/Other ranks in Indian Army and their equivalent in Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
Candidates can apply for the Agnipath Scheme by the Recruitment rallys conducted at various campuses and special rallys. Online centralized system will come into picture for enrolment to all the three services.
The enrolment for the Agnipath Scheme will be based on the “All India All Class” basis and candidates eligible for applying should be in the age limit of 17.5 to 21 years.
Candidates willing to apply for the entry of General Duty soldier should have the educational qualification of class 10. Candidates who have passed class 12 are also eligible for the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme.

केंद्रीय रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों की भर्ती प्रक्रिया में बदलाव लाने के लिए एक क्रांतिकारी कदम के रूप में अग्निपथ भर्ती योजना शुरू की है। यह योजना भारतीय सेना, भारतीय नौसेना और भारतीय वायु सेना में 46,000 सैनिकों को जोड़ने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करेगी।
इस योजना की घोषणा की गई और कैबिनेट कमेटी ने इसे मंजूरी दे दी। रक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि, "अग्निपथ भर्ती योजना सशस्त्र बलों में युवा प्रोफ़ाइल की पेशकश करने के लिए एक परिवर्तनकारी उपाय के रूप में आएगी।"
अग्निपथ योजना के अनुसार प्रारंभ में प्रवेश 4 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए किया जाएगा। रंगरूटों को सशस्त्र बलों द्वारा 4 साल की अवधि के लिए आवश्यक कौशल में प्रशिक्षित किया जाएगा। अग्निपथ योजना के तहत भर्ती किए जाने वाले रंगरूटों को दिया जाने वाला पदनाम अग्निपथ होगा।
हर साल भर्ती होने वाले 46000 सैनिकों में से 25% को स्थायी कमीशन के लिए 15 साल के अतिरिक्त कार्यकाल के लिए रखा जाएगा। इन 25% सैनिकों को छोड़कर, अन्य रंगरूटों को जाने की अनुमति दी जाएगी और एक सेवा निधि दी जाएगी- एक बार की राशि रु। 11.71 लाख ब्याज सहित।
सैनिक अपने व्यक्तिगत सपनों को पूरा करने के लिए कर मुक्त राशि का उपयोग कर सकते हैं। चयनित व्यक्तियों को न्यूनतम 15 वर्षों की अतिरिक्त सेवा अवधि के लिए सेवा करने की आवश्यकता होगी और वे भारतीय सेना में जूनियर कमीशंड अधिकारियों/अन्य रैंकों और भारतीय नौसेना और भारतीय वायु सेना में उनके समकक्ष के लिए तैयार किए गए नियमों और शर्तों के तहत आएंगे।
उम्मीदवार अग्निपथ योजना के लिए विभिन्न परिसरों में आयोजित भर्ती रैली और विशेष रैली के माध्यम से आवेदन कर सकते हैं। तीनों सेवाओं में नामांकन के लिए ऑनलाइन केंद्रीकृत प्रणाली लागू होगी।
अग्निपथ योजना के लिए नामांकन "अखिल भारतीय अखिल वर्ग" के आधार पर होगा और आवेदन करने के लिए पात्र उम्मीदवारों की आयु 17.5 से 21 वर्ष होनी चाहिए।
जनरल ड्यूटी सिपाही के प्रवेश के लिए आवेदन करने के इच्छुक उम्मीदवारों के पास कक्षा 10 की शैक्षणिक योग्यता होनी चाहिए। 12 वीं कक्षा पास करने वाले उम्मीदवार भी अग्निपथ भर्ती योजना के लिए पात्र हैं।

4 साल की सेवा के बाद, अग्निवीर को सेवा निधि का एकमुश्त भुगतान प्राप्त होगा। लेकिन, 4 साल की समय सीमा के बाद अग्निवीरों को पेंशन लाभ की कोई ग्रेच्युटी नहीं मिलेगी।
अग्निपथ योजना के तहत, भर्ती मानक समान रहेंगे और रैलियों के माध्यम से साल में दो बार होंगे।
योजना के तहत चयन के बाद उम्मीदवारों को छह महीने के प्रशिक्षण से गुजरना होगा और फिर साढ़े तीन साल की अवधि के लिए तैनात किया जाएगा। शुरुआती वेतन रु. 30,000 और अतिरिक्त लाभ के साथ रु. चार साल की सेवा के अंत तक 40,000।
अग्निवीरों के वेतन का 30% सेवा निधि कार्यक्रम के लिए अलग रखा जाएगा। अग्निवीरों को चार साल के लिए 48 लाख का बीमा कवर भी मिलेगा।

CUET 2022: The common university entrance test (CUET) is a test conducted for admissions for undergraduate courses in all central universities. It comes under the education policy drafted by the centre.

It has surpassed JEE main in terms of number of registrations. JEE mains counts 8.4 to 9 lakh registrations per year. The common university entrance test offers as many as nine subjects to each student, which acts as a common platform for registering in any participating institute.
It is becoming more popular daily among most of the entrances. The approximate cumulative university wise count is around 46.9 lakh.
Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar are the top three states in terms of the number of candidates registered. There are some considerable numbers of registrations from smaller cities in terms of population.
Delhi accounted for over 6 lakh applications, which was followed by Banaras Hindu University, which recorded about 3.9 lakh registrations, and the University of Allahabad, which received about 2.3 lakh registrations.
