NRA CET 2022 : Common Eligibility Test

The National Recruitment Agency (NRA), proposed by the Ministry of Personnel and Public Grievances, will be established to administer the screening examination known as the common eligibility test (CET) for numerous tests previously conducted by SSC, IBPS, and RRB.

The National Recruitment Agency's Common Eligibility Test will take the place of the screening paper in numerous SSC, RRB, and IBPS exams.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State, has announced that the Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be held in early 2022 to shortlist candidates for central government posts at the primary level.

The NRA Common Eligibility Test (NRA CET) is a screening test that will be administered by the newly recognized NRA. It will be used to shortlist candidates for non-technical and non-gazetted Group B and C positions.

Through the Common Eligibility Test, a candidate will only have to prepare for one single entrance exam (Tier 1 or Prelims) for a variety of government exams, including Bank, SSC, and Railways, saving time, effort, and worry.

NRA CET will conduct the screening test for the following exams, as stated above. It will be a standardized test for all of these tests, administered twice a year.

(i) CET Application Form: The application form for various CET levels will be available on the NRA's official website (namely 10th, 12th & Graduates)

(ii) Take the NRA CET Exam: NRA will conduct the preliminary examinations.

(iii) NRA will then reveal the CET results, including the cut-off scores (sectional- yet to be announced)

(iv) Attend the Next Round of the Exam You Want: You can then apply for the next steps of your targeted recruitment, such as Bank, SSC, Railways, or State Level Exams, based on the cut-off.

ADVANTAGES OF INSTRUCTING NRA

(i) The NRA CET will replace 20 recruitment organizations and establish three primary companies to administer tests at three levels: 10th, 12th, and graduate.

(ii) Candidates are no longer required to pay the application cost for each exam separately. This is a huge comfort for candidates with less affluent backgrounds.

(iii) The candidates will be able to take the exam in a total of 12 languages, including regional languages.

(iv) There are no restrictions on taking the NRA CET; however, the score will be valid for three years from the date of registration.

(v) This single NRA CET exam will help students save time and worry by allowing them to concentrate on their aptitude and other abilities.

(vi) Rural candidates will be eligible to sit for these tests because each district will have at least one exam center.

(vii) The NRA CET will be held twice a year, providing additional opportunity for students to perform and excel.

(viii) You no longer need to be concerned about exam dates clashing because you will take a single exam for all bank, SSC, and railway recruitment.

(ix) The exam will be computer-based and conducted online.

One of the most obvious queries that everyone has is why there is a need for yet another government employment agency when there are already a number of organizations in charge of central level recruitment.

The major problem is that these existing organizations are not performing as expected, and the situation is rapidly deteriorating.

The main goal was to reduce the overall time spent on the government employment recruitment process. After evaluating this lengthy process, the National Recruitment Agency was established.

There is no longer any need to take several exams for different ministries of the federal government. CET will take the position of initial level shortlisting, resulting in significant time and cost savings.

Candidates will also benefit from a shorter time cycle for overall recruiting for any exam. Currently, it takes a total of 6 months from the notice release date to the Tier-1 exam application process.

This 6 month period will be cut in half, allowing the final outcome to be announced sooner than under the existing method.

We trust that these pointers will help you comprehend NRA CET better. Before you grow fatigued, remember to take a conscious pause every now and again from the preparation.
