Highlights of CBSE Class 12 Result
Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has arrived with the latest update for lakhs of students of class 12. CBSE board exam 2022 for class 12 is out now.

CBSE has also announced that the class 10 result is going to be out soon. The expert sources have revealed that the CBSE class 10 results are going to be out today around 2 pm.
Students of class 12 can download their score cards from the website mentoined above. The board exam roll number, date of birth and school code will be necessary for the same. For the CBSE class 10 students, CBSE 10th result for term 2 can be checked via SMS, IVRS, SMS app.
More than 1.4 million students had appeared for the CBSE board exam 2022; and out of those 1.4 million, 1.3 million have passed. Over 33,000 students have scored above 95% with 1.3 lakh class 12 students have scored more than 90%.
CBSE has congratulated class 12 students as the pass percentage of this year has been recorded at 92.71% which is a considerable improvement from the 2020’s 88.78%. Although, in 2021, the pass percentage skyrocketed for class 12 students with 99.37%, as there were no written board exams in 2021.
CBSE has also declared that Trivandrum, Kerala, has recorded the highest pass percentage with 98.83%, meanwhile Prayagraj, UP, has recorded the lowest pass percentage of 83.71%.
Consecutively for the fourth time in a row, Girls of class 12 have outperformed boys by a record of 3.29%. Although in the result of CBSE board exam 2020, there was a record-breaking difference in the results of girls being 92.15 and boys staying low at 86.19%.
CBSE class 12 result declared: How is the result calculated?
This year the exams were held for the first time in format and accordingly the result of class 12 has been calculated. The final result of CBSE board exam 2022 has been calculated on the basis of following assessment criteria:-
1. For theory, 70% weightage is given to term 2, and 30% to term 1.
2. For practicals, equal weightage has been given to both the terms.
Note: - It is to be noted here, that the CBSE class 12 students willing to get the exact calculations can get the official score on their scorecard with details of marks obtained during the academic year as internal assessment marks, project works, practical exams and pre-board exams.
