National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the application forms for JEE Mains 2022 on March 1, 2022. The JEE Mains will be conducted in two sessions for the year 2022.
Session 1 will be conducted in April 2022 on the following dates: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21 April 2022.
Whereas, Session 2 will take place in May 2022 on the following dates: 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 May 2022.
Candidates can fill out the online application form for session 1 of JEE Mains 2022 within the time frame of 1 March 2022 to 31 March 2022 (up to 5:00 pm only).
Paper 1 will be a computer-based test that students can opt for B.E./B.Tech. It will be taken in two-shift i.e. Morning (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) and Evening (3:00 pm to 6:00 pm).
Paper 2A will be conducted for B.Arch. and Paper 2B will be conducted for B.Planning. Paper 2A will be conducted in two shifts similar to Paper 1 and will have a Computer-based test except for the Drawing test that will be conducted in pen-paper format.
Paper 2B will be a computer-based test that will only be conducted in the evening shift from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
There will be two sections A and B for Paper 1 and Paper 2A.
Section A will only have MCQ-type questions and Section B will have questions that need to be answered with the numerical value. Candidates will have the option to attempt any 5 questions from 10 questions in section B.
All the questions should be attempted carefully as there will be negative markings for both sections.
Students can pay the fee online mode by 31 March 2022 (11.30 pm). Candidates are not required to submit different forms for different sessions. Only one application form per candidate will be considered for the application process.
The application form should be properly checked by the candidate while filling as there is no scope of corrections once the form is submitted.
