NRA CET 2022: National Testing Agency (NTA) has constituted an expert advisory committee to recommend a standard syllabus and pattern for the Common Eligibility Test (CET).
Once the expert group has made its proposal, the entire NRA CET syllabus and exam pattern will be made public. Chairman, Secretary-cum-Controller of Examinations, Director, and Deputy Secretary, among others, are among the personnel assigned to the NRA.
The date and notice for the NRA CET 2022 exam are scheduled to be announced soon. The exam was originally supposed to start in early 2022.
The National Recruitment Agency (NRA) is preparing to administer the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for a number of non-gazetted positions in Central Government agencies.
In the 2020-21 budget, the establishment of the NRA was announced.
Candidates will be screened/shortlisted for certain categories of posts in the Central Government that are filled by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), and the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) through the NRA CET (IBPS).
Candidates will be considered for the next stages of the screening process based on their CET results. Separate exams, administered by the individual recruitment organizations, will be used to make the final selection.
The NRA CET will be held twice a year, with results valid for three years. Every year, candidates can retake the Common Eligibility Test to improve their scores.
Candidates can apply for jobs in banking, the SSC, and the railways based on their score. SSC, IBPS, and RRBs will no longer administer prelims/tier 1 exams.
Each district of the country will have at least one NRA CET exam center. In the Ladakh district, there will be two centers. Candidates will have less work to do in applying for and taking numerous prelims/tier 1 exams if there is only one screening examination.
Which Exam will Come Under CET?
The NRA is expected to take over the job of conducting the prelims/tier-I online exam from three government recruitment entities in the process:
