JEE Mains 2022 Exam attempt - Key concerns

Last year, the JEE Mains was held in four sessions. However, this year, the authorities have returned to the original format. Students have thus pointed out that two attempts may not be enough.

1. The candidates will have two attempts for JEE main 2022 exam. One attempt will be in the June session and the other will be in the July session.

2. Conducting the JEE main 2022 exam in the middle of board exams will make it impossible for students to prepare for both simultaneously, thus leading to poor performance in both and that is totally effect on their career.

3. Centers for board exams and JEE main 2022 exam may be in different cities, which would make it impossible for students to travel and come back for further exams

4. Students say they had prepared for the JEE main 2022 exam in accordance with four attempts. Last-minute reduction in the number of attempts (from 4 to 2) has become a base for anxiety and depression among students and they all are not score as much as they want to score.

Students get only two chances, not four

Engineering course aspirants will get two, instead of four, attempts to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE main 2022 exam) this year, as the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to conduct the entrance test only in June and July.

The Ministry of Education has decided to reduce the number of attempts. It will be two rather than four.
