Union Minister Jitendra Singh has confirmed that earlier it was planned to conduct the NRA CET exam in 2021 but due to the pandemic condition in the country the idea of the exam has been postponed to early 2022.
NRA CET will act as a single exam for various non-gazetted and non-technical Group B & C positions. This decision will benefit the larger community, especially the candidates who come from remote areas.
This exam will assure that there is at least one exam center in each district so that accessibility of the centers is increased for the candidates and especially the women from remote areas.
Moreover, with the single exam being introduced for various positions of SSC, RRB, and IBPS, the financial burden on the candidates will be reduced as they only need to pay the application fee for a single exam.
With the introduction of the NRA CET exam, candidates will not only have the opportunity to grab the job vacancies in the central government but even the state governments can consider the CET score for giving jobs to the candidates.
NRA CET 2022 exam is expected to be conducted in September 2022. But, the official notification for the exam is not yet out and aspirants are eagerly waiting for the same.
NRA CET 2022 exam will be conducted at three different levels. The levels in the exam will be class 10, class 12, and graduation.
Candidates can apply for the level as per their educational qualification level. There is an upper age limit for each level that the candidates should abide by.
There will be some relaxation given to the candidates from the reserved categories. But, the rules for the relaxation will primarily depend upon the existing rules of the government.
NRA CET 2022 will be a computer-based test that will take place in an online format. Candidates will answer all the questions in the MCQ format for this exam.
The syllabus and the exam pattern of the NRA CET exam are not yet officially announced, but it is expected that the exam will have overall four sections just like the other government posts exams.
There is no limit on the number of attempts that a candidate can take for the NRA CET 2022 exam. As long as the candidate can fulfill the upper age requirements of the eligibility, he/she can easily sit in the exam.
Once the candidates successfully give the NRA CET 2022 exam, the scorecard of the exam will be valid for three consecutive years.
NRA CET 2022 exam will be conducted twice a year to offer a great advantage to the candidates to improve their performance.
NRA CET will be a national-level exam that will give the opportunity the candidates to compete at a national level. In addition to that, it will act as a screening or a preliminary exam for the further rounds of SSC, RRB, and IBPS.
As soon as the candidates qualify for this exam, the further levels or tiers of the exam will be conducted by the respective recruiting agencies and there will be no role for NRA in it.
Candidates need to fill out the online application form for the NRA CET exam to sit for the exam. The application form will be available on the official website.
There will be various steps that candidates need to undergo to complete their online application process like registering for the exam, filling out the application form, uploading relevant documents, and finally paying the application fee.
Once the applicants complete the application process, candidates are expected to take out a printout of the form and save it for future reference.
