Agniveer Age Limit 2026 – Army, Navy & Air Force Age Criteria for Recruitment
The Agniveer Age Limit 2026 is a fundamental eligibility requirement under the Agnipath Scheme. Candidates must be between 17.5 years and 21 years of age at the time of enrollment. This applies uniformly across the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. The age limit is non-negotiable and is strictly enforced.
The Agnipath Scheme was launched by the Government of India in June 2022 to offer four-year military service to young Indians, following which 25% are permanently retained, and the rest are discharged with a tax-free Seva Nidhi package of approximately ₹11.71 lakh.
