The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the sole entrance test for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in India. The exam is conducted once a year in offline mode for a duration of three hours and 20 minutes.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the medical entrance exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, AYUSH, Veterinary, and other medical/paramedical courses in India.

Over 15 lakh candidates appear for the NEET UG exam every year. The exam is conducted in 13 languages.

Citizens or applicants belonging to the following nationalities are eligible to apply for NEET 2022 exam:

1. Indian Nationals

2. Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)

3. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

4. Persons with Indian Origin (PIO)

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for filling out the NEET 2022 application form at neet.nta.nic.in. The last deadline to fill out a NEET application form in 2022 is May 15, and the money can be paid till 11:50 p.m.

 

NEET Application Form 2022 – Required Documents and Recent Updates

Students should take particular caution when filling out the NEET application form for the year 2022. The NEET application form 2022 is divided into two sections.

Candidates must fill in all of their details accurately in the first step of the NEET application form 2022. If necessary, candidates can modify their information in the second step of the NEET application form.

Instructions that you must take care of before you start filling the application form online are as follows :

1. You can apply for NEET-UG 2022 ‘ON-LINE’ only through the official website of NEET-UG (https://neet.nta.nic.in).

2. Fill out the Online Application Form and write down the Application Number generated by the system.

While filling out the Online Application Form, the candidate must provide all needed information, as well as create a PASSWORD and select a Security Question and answer.

3. Following the successful input of personal information, an Application number will be produced, which will be used to complete the following steps of the Application Form, as well as for all future reference/ communication.

4. Candidates will be able to login directly using the appropriate system generated Application Number and created Password for subsequent logins.

Candidates must carefully study the Instructions in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA Website (including how to fill out the Application Form online).

Candidates who do not follow the instructions will be automatically disqualified.

 

What to bear in mind before filling out the NEET Application Form 2022?

1. Before filling out the NEET UG 2022 application form, candidates must have all of their documents with them. It will make the process of filling out the NEET application form less chaotic and confusing.

2. Furthermore, there will be less opportunities to make errors on the NEET application form. Aspirants must adhere to the size requirements of the NEET application form 2022 for scanned copies of images and documents.

It will prompt you if the scanned copies do not fulfil the requirements, and you will be unable to submit the papers as a result.

Aspirants should prepare the following documents before filling out the application form for NEET UG 2022:

i) Valid Mobile Number

ii) Valid Email Address

iii) Class 10 details and Class 12 details (Mark sheet, certificate, roll number, school address, and other details)

iv) Correct spelling of father's and mother's name

v) Aadhaar number

vi) Class 12 Roll number issued by the Board/Election Card (EPIC No.), passport number, ration card number, bank account or any other valid Govt. identity number

vii) Scanned images of passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, Class 10 pass certificate and postcard size photograph

viii) Credit/Debit card, Net Banking and UPI payment gateway details

To pay the application cost, the candidate must use a debit card, credit card, UPI, Net banking, or PAYTM option and follow the online instructions.

The candidate will be able to print the Confirmation Page after making a successful payment. If the Confirmation Page does not appear after payment of the fee, the transaction is annulled, and the candidates must contact their bank for a refund.

If the Confirmation Page is not generated, the candidate must make another payment/transaction.
