How to Use Cutoff Information Strategically
-
Check last 3 years' closing ranks for your target NLU — not just one year
-
Account for domicile quota — your state's NLU may have a lower cutoff for you
-
Choose Float during counselling to remain eligible for higher-ranked NLUs
-
Don't fixate on Round 1 cutoffs — they tighten in Rounds 1–2 and may relax in later rounds for newer NLUs
-
Track all 5 counselling rounds — seats do open up with withdrawals
Official CLAT 2027 cutoffs will be published on consortiumofnlus.ac.in with each round of counselling in January–March 2027.
