CLAT Syllabus 2027 – Complete Subject-Wise Syllabus for CLAT Exam

The CLAT 2027 Syllabus is prescribed by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) and covers five key subject areas for the undergraduate (UG) programme and a separate set of law subjects for the postgraduate (PG) programme. Understanding the complete syllabus is the first and most important step in preparing for one of India's most competitive law entrance exams.

CLAT 2027 is expected to be held on 6 December 2026 in pen-and-paper (offline) mode. The Consortium has formed an Expert Committee chaired by Justice Indu Malhotra (Retd.) to review and suggest reforms for both UG and PG CLAT, effective from CLAT 2027. Aspirants should stay updated with the official Consortium website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in for any syllabus changes.
