Chapter 1: Mechanics (Laws of Motion + Work & Energy)

This chapter provides 2-3 questions for each paper. Most of the questions are concept based. Students who have a grasp of the concept of entropy and a heat engine can answer these without needing to perform any complicated calculations.
Study Tip: Diagrams for PV cycles. Know and understand the four basic processes: isothermal, adiabatic, isochoric, and isobaric and be able to recognise them in questions.
