PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is looking for school students across the nations for an imminent scholarship scheme that has recently been circulated.
NTA is asking for students to send applications for the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme (YASASVI). The scholarship will be based on Vibrant India Entrance Test 2022.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has established the YASASVI along with 15000 other scholarships that are offered to the recognized school students of class 9 and class 11. The applicants belonging to Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC) and De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNT/SNT) category across India whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakhs are open to apply for the scholarship.
Another important thing to be noted here is that the scholarship under the scheme will be available for studies in India. Also, the scholarship will only be awarded by the Govt. of the State/ Union Territory to which the applicant belongs.
Another great news for the students applying for this scholarship is that no examination fees will be charged for the YASAVI entrance test. NTA has also released the YASASVI syllabus which available on their official website - https://yet.nta.ac.in/

Moreover, the students are required to visit the same above-mentioned website to submit their application for YASAVI. After the successful form submission, NTA will release the admit card in the month of September on the same website.
According to the NTA The YASAVI entrance exam is also scheduled to be held in the month of September. The exam will be 3 hours long and will be conducted in computer-based mode. It will be OMR based, comprising 100 multiple choice questions. The exam is announced to be held in 78 cities across India.
Eligibility criteria
These are the eligibility criteria for YASAVI entrance exam: -
1. Only Indian Nationals are allowed to apply.
2. Only OBC or EBC or DNT category students can apply.
3. The applicants must be studying in the identified Top Class Schools across the nation.
4. They should have passed Class 8 or Class 10 (according to the case).
5. Parents/Guardians annual income from all sources should be less than Rs. 2.5 lacs.
6. Class 9 Exam applicants need to be born between 01-04-2006 to 31-03-2010.
7. Class 11 Exam applicants need to be born between 01-04-2004 to 31-03-2008.
Steps to submit your application –
1 – Visit the www.yet.nta.ac.in
2 – Then click on the registration link given on the home page.
3 – Register yourself with the basic information. The system will generate a unique Application number, note that down.
4 – Login with application number and password and fill out the rest of the details.
5 – Finally, after the submission, download or print the confirmation page for future reference.
Important dates & Information
1. Online Registrations Period: 27-07-2022 to 26-08-2022.
2. Last date for submission: 26-08-2022.
3. Correction Window: 27-08-2022 to 31-08-2022.
4. Release of Admit card: 05-09-2022.
5. Exam date: 11-09-2022.
6. Results: Will be announced on the NTA website.
7. Entitlement: Rs. 75,000 per annum for Class 9/10; Rs. 1,25,000 per annum for Class 11/12 which covers all the hostel and other charges.
8. Mode of exam: Computer Based Test (CBT).
9. Documents for application: Students are required to have a valid functional Mobile Number, Aadhar Number (UID), Aadhar linked Bank Account, Income Certificate and Caste Certificate.
