UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2026
UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2026 – Qualification, Age Limit, JRF & Assistant Professor Eligibility
Understanding the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2026 is the first and most important step before applying for the June session exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has outlined clear requirements related to educational qualification, age limit, nationality, and reservation criteria for candidates seeking eligibility as Junior Research Fellows (JRF) or Assistant Professors in Indian universities and colleges.
The UGC NET June 2026 notification was officially released on 29 April 2026. Candidates found ineligible at any stage — even after the exam — may face disqualification, so it is critical to verify all criteria before submitting the application form.
