The UGC NET Result 2026 for the June session will be declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on its official website after the successful completion of the exam and the answer key challenge process. The June 2026 exam is scheduled from 22 to 30 June 2026, and the result is expected in August 2026.

UGC NET Merit List 2026
NTA releases a merit list based on the following criteria:
Step 1: Identify the top 6% of candidates who appeared in both papers of UGC NET.
Step 2: Rank candidates within each subject and category based on total marks (Paper 1 + Paper 2).
Step 3: Allocate JRF and Assistant Professor slots based on reservation policy of the Government of India.
Step 4: Publish the cutoff marks as the minimum score of the last qualifying candidate in each category.
